Early this year, we launched a new website, copy and brand for Portland-based law firm Gearing, Rackner & McGrath Family Law using our unique Strategic Messaging Website process. GRM is a firm committed to personalized legal solutions, crafting effective plans for their clients during difficult transitions.
We worked with one of our favorite brand designers, Olivia from Olivia Design Co, to first build a new brand for their firm, resulting in a fabulous Pacific Northwest-inspired logo, Kath created a copy plan for the firm and wrote some fantastic copy for the homepage. Using WordPress and an awesome tool that creates a Squarespace-like experience, Elementor.

Ava Digital Awards: Gold
AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. Work ranges from audio and video productions- to websites that present interactive components such as video, animation, blogs, and podcasts- to interactive social media sites- to other forms of user-generated communication.
AVA Digital Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, and free-lance professionals. AMCP administers recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
Elementor Site of the Month
We loved how the design and the messaging perfectly correspond with the firm’s expertise of divorce and separation. In particular, we liked the multi-scroll section split into two sections, with a vertical scroll going in opposite directions.
We feel the designer managed to create a positive look & feel, helping to shape an optimistic outlook even in difficult situations like divorce. The beautiful logo design and the needle tree icons reflect the forested and mountainous landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, where this law firm is based.
